Hi, everyone. I'm Barbara.

It would be proper that I write something about me. 

But what if, true to myself, I chose qualities that are not exactly considered virtues in our environment, say too expressive for Slovenian conditions, with a natural talent for stepping on blisters and giving opinions without thinking about the consequences, sometimes too abstract to be understood, or too direct when it would be better if others didn’t understand me.

 

When I met God, I asked Him to give me a new identity, I wanted to be different, but no, nothing happened, God accepted me as I am. "The broken he did not break, the smoldering he did not extinguish." But He gave me a new heart and the ability to walk with Him. He gave me the freedom to be who I am.

So, here are some facts:

I was born on 31/12/1969 in Koper.  I live in a village near Ljubljana, Slovenia, not Slovakia, with my husband Nenad, and our two daughters Diana and Anabel.

 

I have a cat named Miki, and I grow giant indoor plants that, according to my husband, will soon devour us.
