CHANGES IN THE PROPHETIC FLOW

VISION AND INTERPRETATION OF CHANGES IN THE PROPHETIC FLOW WORLDWIDE

Vision: the Christian world as we know it is changing.

The prophetic movement that God sent into the world and that like a river fed churches, denominations, nations, schools, and businesses are slowly drying up.

Instability, and murky waters, will be noticed in prophetic movements around the world.

There will be more and more apocalyptic prophecies of the end of the world, of scarcity, but this is not inspired by God, but by the nature of the withering prophetic riverbed that will become apparent.

Many movements that are heavenly in origin will continue to have momentum and bless many churches because there will still be plenty of water, but no more direct power from heaven. This will not bother some at all, some will not notice it at all and will continue to prophesy, preach and learn from the water supplies, wells, and water catchments they have, and people will follow them and continue to furnish their homes and businesses with these teachings as they did before. But the rivers will no longer flow from the sanctuary and eventually, those riverbeds will be completely dried up.

Some people will successfully migrate to the next stage if they are willing to start again, and some will not. People who build their entire lives on prophetic teachings instead of on the Written Word of God will end up in a dry place. People who have subjected these prophetic teachings to the Written Word will flourish in times of drought. And those are the people who will wander like nomads into the unknown to reach pure and undefiled origins. Along the way, they will encounter dangers, but also the glory of God, the vastness of heaven, and revelations that will mark their faces like cold, heat, mountains, and sea form the cuts on the faces of earthly travelers, but none of this will be their final destination.

The final destination is to find a new source of water for the church and nothing else.

God will send a new prophetic movement.

The old will be the opposition to the new because it will not be recognized.

Interpretation of Written Word (1 Kings 17: 1-24; 2 Kings 2: 19-25; 3: 1-44): as in the time of the prophet Elijah, when a famine came upon Israel, God took the prophet through several phases - which we can interpret to mean that the current prophetic movement goes through several phases. First, God sent a prophet to the stream, but the stream dried up during the drought. The first phase is coming to an end (Elijah lived by the stream that God had appointed for his care but it dried up, and Elisha healed the stream that was no longer fit for drinking). The time when prophets lived by the stream is over because greater authority and greater responsibility are coming.

The second phase is moving into the house and caring for the widows (cf. 1 Kings 17:7-24; 2 Kings 4:1-37). It is no longer about the prophet and his own existence; it is now about the family. The third phase is the building of schools for prophets (cf. 2 Kings 4: 38-41; 6: 1-7), and the fourth phase is the provision of cities (cf. 2 Kings 4: 42-44).

Just as the prophet Elijah had to go through different phases in his life cycle and each of these phases brought different challenges, so too the prophetic movement has to go through necessary changes if it is to follow God and not be left high and dry. Each transforms according to the revelation it receives (cf. 1 Cor 2:10-13). Each stage can also be interpreted as the prophetic maturity of the individual. Each can only prophesy according to his own faith (cf. Rom. 12, v. 3; v. 6), and faith can only be built on the Word of God (cf. Rom. 10:17; 2 Cor. 4:13). The spirit of prophecy is subject to the control of the prophet, not greater than his faith (cf. 1 Cor. 14:32a). The prophet at the first level does not yet have authority over the nations. Authority over the nations means caring for the nation, not just speaking and judging the nations. It is the time of maturity.

The transition is from the individual and his ministry to the formation of a community of prophets, first through the prophetic family, the prophetic city to the prophetic nation.

For God is moving forward.
